MEET NEW LIFE MINISTRIES

Founded in 1977, New Life Ministries has always had at its heart to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people, where they are. That could be across the street, or around the world.

Since 1990, New Life Ministries has focused it work in the area of the world we know as the former Soviet Union. For 70 years, godless communism held the peoples of the USSR in its iron grip, yet the break up of the Soviet Union marked the beginning of a historic opportunity to take the Gospel where it had been banned before.

Today, New Life Ministries employs a national staff, and works in four areas of outreach: leadership training of nationals; discipleship of new believers; a comprehensive orphanage ministry in Soviet era orphanages; and evangelism through a Russian team of young people.

OUR GOAL: To raise up nationals to do the work of the Lord in their own countries, in their own cultures, ministering to their own people, in their own language

EVANGELISM: Training and deploying Russian evangelism team consisting of twelve young people who have come to Christ and who have been discipled through New Life Ministries. They will minister in 20-30 outreaches in secular youth camps, reaching an estimated 15,000-20,000 young people from all across Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Baltics and Kazakhstan. Last year, 411 came to Christ through the team

LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Summer Leadership Discipleship Camp teaching 35-50 specially selected veterans, who then will lead the newcomers’ discipleship camp, small groups, teaching lessons; man the Russian Evangelism Team; and serve on the orphanage ministry teams that throughout the year commit one full weekend per month in ministry at select orphanages. In addition, three quarterly leadership camps.

NEWCOMERS DISCIPLESHIP CAMP: Sponsorship of camps welcoming 100-200 young people who have recently come to Christ through veteran campers or the Russian Evangelism Team. Discipleship camp is serious & in-depth, immersing them in God’s word, and helping them in their new relationship with Christ.
